We were discussing this questions as a group a few days ago in our class. Some people say that it is inevitable and some said it is.
To me, I think chaos is inevitable. Arguments are part of a chaos and this happens when people have different opinions. It is impossible for 7-8 billion people in the world to have the same thought and opinion. If people have conflicting ideas, there are arguments. Making these mass number of people to have the same thinking is impossible, so chaos is inevitable.
So, what do you guys think?

I agree with you Esther, I think chaos is inevitable because I believe that everything is already set up for everyone like destiny. Therefore, everyone's can't just go against their destiny since it will cause another chaos. Everything that was kept in order will be corrupted if a person tries to change their destine. The balance would also matter since if some people are able to avoid chaos, then everyone will try to avoid it.

I agree with you, chaos is just a natural thing that eventually will occur sooner or later. It may take months, years, decades, or even a century for chaos to come along but it will come no matter what. We are humans, meaning we have a lot of flaws and we are far away from being perfect, our flaws stack up it includes government, individuals, etc. When there are way too much problems a chaos occurs, its just something unavoidable because someone triggers it and it goes like a chain reaction, for example: World war 1,2 everyone was involved in the war and many lost their lives due to a conflict that arose to be a chaos, chaos is something that we can't avoid.

I think that chaos is inevitable due to the human nature :3 People often have conflicting ideas; however they aren't willing to make compromises. I guess stubbornness is part of human nature. These conflicting ideas can range from religious preference to simple disagreement in daily life. Of course depending on the scale and magnitude of the conflict, the harder or easier to make negotiations. Nonetheless, Chaos is inevitable; however, chaos can be resolved. It is not an easy task, but the success rate in resolving a conflict is still there. An example will be the conflict between Buddhism and Islam in India. The uproar wouldn't have faded if it weren't for Ghandi's contributions. As illustrated, such conflict requires great public figures in order to mollify the situation.

I agree that chaos is inevitable since no one can foresee the future. Some chaos that made by humans can be avoided if we try hard (it's reaaally hard though ), however, it is impossible to avoid chaos which are made by natural disasters like eathquake, typhoon, tsunami, volcanic eruption, etc.

I've been thinking about this issue for a while, and my conclusion is that chaos is inevitable. However, by experience, impact of chaos can always be alleviated in its scale. Chaos is a hit in mind or heart due to unexpectation. Life is full of unexpectations, and men are vulnerable to them; it is part of nature. But knowing the senses of nature, one can always lessen the confusion. As time passes, one will be shocked with less impact.

I think chaos is inevitable because the definition of chaos is basically a disorder. you might think that you can avoid chaos, but you don't see when and where it is coming, so basically, chaos is inevitable. Any small things that you cannot see can cause chaos. Like a screw can cause chaos in machines or even a someone's behavior can cause a chaos in society as a whole. However, everyone can deal, or make solution for chaos

I think it really depends on how one perceives it. If the person defineć“ certain situation to be a chaos, it is inevitable. On the other hand, if a different person thinks that certain thing is not a complete disaster, rather if the person thinks that the situation doesn't look so bad after all, it is not inevitable for him. So, I think it is important to define the definition of chaos first but if I have to answer your question, I would say what I said previously. Though some might think that chaos is a natural consequence, and therefore unable to be avoided, but if you consider avoiding a different thing, I think it is something that can be avoided.

Chaos is defined as disorder, and I think disorder comes naturally to humans. Its not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion. Disorder comes naturally to humans because all humans have different wants, and there's no one direction that the world is going in.

I personally believe that chaos is inevitable. Like you said, we live in a big world where there is a lot of people with different individual ideas. Our opinions will always sometimes be in conflict with each other and will end up leading to chaos. There are means of solving disputes such as debates and compensations, but there are always the extremists or purists who are unyielding in their beliefs. It always ends up by either threatening them with something that they care (e.g. their families) or using violence to oppress them. It's a sad idea, but I think chaos will always be around.

I agree with you guys that chaos is indeed inevitable, but it can be resolved when people stop what they are doing for a second, reflect, and take small steps rearranging stuffs slowly and cautiously.

Chaos is inevitable depending on your situation. If you have a choice for whether you want your situation to be chaotic or not, it is avoidable. But if a natural disaster occurs and it's something that you can't control, it is certain to happen.

I don't think it is inevitable at all. Chaos or confusion comes, and will come. And I think that in that sense, it is inevitable. If there is peace there must be chaos. However, this does not mean that one cannot stop chaos. IT is a possibility. And that is why it is not inevitable, because there is still a possibility to stop the chaos.

I believe that chaos is inevitable because the ones who are causing the problem are people. People are the source that disrupt and bring disorder to others. There is always chaos and it is caused by human beings or another cause can be by natural disasters.
