I think we are learning the literature thing and our presentation is fully connected with literature. I think many major themes in our poem or essay could relate to others . I think in my essay "on not sitting shooting birds" contains feminism. This could relate to the presentation from Christian" The profession of Woman". The both author are talking about feminism.

Yes, I also realized lots of the themes presented throughout the presentations are closely related. For example, the idea of feminism is a perfect example. During the Victorian era, women began to question of the unfair status between women compared to men. Also, with the initiation of feminism, there happened to be lots of women authors during this time period.

Religion, feminism, and gender conflicts are key themes in our final presentations as most of them take place during the Victorian Era. I also realized this as my literature's main focus is Feminism and Women Authors.

Religion, death, war are some of the key themes that I remember so far. I think the time period and the background really affected the authors to focus on such themes because they would've thought about the world they were living in. Religion seemed like a huge part since Christianity was a big deal during the era.

Life and Death, religion, roles of women, roles of men, and many more themes were in common with the stories presented in class. From religion, Christianity took part. My story, although not presented yet, contains all of these themes and I thought it was very interesting that so many stories correspond with the same themes.

Themes in my poem have a lot of similarities between other presentations. For ex: Macbeth contains religion and death and so is my story, even though my poem is very short it still touches on religion and death, young soldiers are sent to fight and die in the name of god. In Macbeth, person kills in order to become the king and religion is mentioned along the story.

Some of the common themes in the works given to us are life and death (appropriate since we're all going to die one day) such as 'Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night', and feminism 'The Ruined Maid', and 'On Shooting Birds'.

Of course alot of our themes are common since we are all British literature. But one thing that I found that was mentioned a lot throughout was the world wars that happened during the early to mid 1900s. i guess alot of the authors were impacted by such a tragic event. It seems that every author was at least involved or impacted by the wars that happened.

Themes that I have found in the literatures consist of war, future, past, next generation, science, religion, love, nature, environment, death, feminism, good versus evil, or propriety. Of these themes, some of the literatures are closely related such as The Descent of Men and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde as for the scientific theme.

I don't think any of the major themes in my story relate to the themes in the other stories? Maybe the closest one is The Ruined Maid, where there is a hint of irony in it.
