what do you think about the presentation so far? i think they only focus on the background so far. i want other people to talk about the poem. we should understand what the poem is like. i know background is important but they talk too much on them so that we could not understand about the poem.

I think 20 minutes is too short. Everybody so far, including myself, did not have enough time to wrap up the presentation and activity smoothly. The presentations are ok i guess.

Sometimes I can't understand the poem. Everyone is talking about the author too much, and the activity time is too short!

20 minute is too short to explain specifically about the poem, author and activity. Usually there are much information about the poetry and the author so after explain those things, there are not much time to do activity. But so far, I enjoyed listening and contributing to the activities and presentation.

I completely agree with James. I feel like we have to cut down a lot of parts from our presentations in order to end it in time. We can do the activity for only for a short while. I feel like if we have to discuss essential questions we need more time. Because there are lots of different perspectives on the same thing.

After i finish the prensentation, I feel twenty minutes are too short and I have to admit that I have done too much things on background things. Because I do not organize time perfectly, I only put less time on doing activity and I think if i have opportunity to do it again, i would put more time on poem and activity instead of background.

I think we should focus more on to your literature analysis rather than talking about the biography of the author...

I hope we had more time for the presentation because I feel like everyone is having hard time with the time management. A little bit of extension in time will make it easier much.

As someone with a 5 stanza poem i'm perfectly fine with the 20 minute time limit, however, I do feel bad for others who have to skip a lot of the analysis of their work, and instead only skim their work. The class ends up having only a surface knowledge of the work, and a lot of perhaps unneeded information on the author and the background.

As some people mentioned, I think we are too short on time. Especially when there are two people presenting in one day. I know that the max time is 20 minutes, but somehow we tend to go over that time and interrupt other people's presentation time. Maybe we should have started the presentations earlier to avoid this problem...?

I agree with James, 20 minutes is too short to go in depth about the poem. A lot of times poems are short and explaining literary elements, themes, symbolisms, etc. takes a very little portion of 20 minutes and the rest is filled with background and author informations. Probably, if we had a little more time you would have heard more about the poem.

Some people focus about author too much so I'll talk about author shorter and more and use more time for expraining poem.

I also think that people who presented so far talked too little about their poem. The background is important too, but the whole point of doing presentation was to teach the class about your poem or story.

I think the problem that we face so far is 20 minutes is too short to explain the background of the period, the author, and literature elements in the literary that you chose, but I think everyone did really good so far.

Even though I missed some lessons because of APs I have, but I realized that most of people just skipped the background information. There was flood of information regarding author and the literature in my class. There were some people who totally skipped their information on time period, and there were some who just stated what big events happened during this time. They didn't talk about it in detail not relate to the literature. It would have been better if people showed us how the literature was influenced by the big events or culture during the given time period.
What I liked was that there were some cool activities that people did. Justin made us go to Katoot or something, I don't remember, and we had to solve the questions individually. In Luke's case, he made us blow a ball in the air, showing some metaphorical meaning behind the literature. I also liked that people usually didn't really miss information on story and author. There were extensive information given to us.
