Our group's essential question was "Is loneliness part of human nature or not?" What does it mean to be lonely? Are humans the only living beings that feel loneliness? Is loneliness naturally in everyone or are only in some? There are many side questions that needed to be considered first to think of an answer for this question. What do you guys think?

I think that's an interesting question. I guess human beings are not the only living things that feel lonely. In my opinion, animals feel and think like us especially if they are developed in terms of intelligence. For example, people say how dogs shake their tails unconsciously when they see a new person. And I experienced seeing dogs shaking more their tails more rapidly if they had been alone for a while and encounter a person.

I don't think human beings are the only living things feel lonely. Other creatures feel loneliness as well. Some even die of loneliness. I think feeling left out internally is meaning of loneliness. Since I believe it to be in human nature, it exists in everybody.

I believe that loneliness is a part of human nature because until they meet someone else they are just one person finding comfort. Needing comfort from others and in the end staying together. Being lonely is when someone is in a state that they alone and sad that they can find their comfort. Animals are also creatures that feel lonely because in the wild the one rule is either that they are going to be hunted or the ones that are doing the hunting to others.

I think loneliness is part of human because it is just one of the feeling that human can feel sometime. Loneliness defines vacuous feeling and sometime we feel this when there is no one with us. Humans won't be only creature that will feel loneliness because animals have feeling too. Except for things that does not have spirit, I think everyone will feel loneliness.

I think it is. People want to be happy, be popular, have many friends. Lonely and alone is really different. Alone maybe is living style but feeling lonely is a part of human nature.

I don't think loneliness is part of human nature because there are some people who feel more comfortable when they are alone. I think it really depends on people's surroundings and their thoughts. I believe that animals also feel lonely because for instance, my puppy greets me when I go home late. I have also seen cases where dogs were depressed because they were lonely.

Of course it is human nature. I think being lonely can be physically and mentally. However, it's not means being alone. Not only human living being that feel loneliness. It can be dog, cat whatever who have emotions.

I think loneliness is part of human nature. People stay lonely until they find another who are in accord. When they are left alone they feel lonely, depending on people. Some might feel lonely, and some might not. I’m not sure whether humans are the only living beings that feel lonely, but I think some animals feel lonely like we do. I would say that loneliness exists in everyone. It depends on how they respond to it.

I think all the people in the world could feel lonliness and from some movies that we can know some animals also do not like Lonlieness either. In the nature world, many animals live by groups and I think all the animal include people could often feel lonliness in the world.

Now that I think again, it is people's nature to feel lonely. People have to feel lonely because it is human nature to want to belong to the majority. When people are by themselves, they feel insecure and isolated.

what it means to be lonely is just being alone without anyone else. I don't think that humans are the only beings that are able to feel lonely. I think that being lonely is something that is naturally until people meet other people.

no i think loneliness is actually against human nature. Humans are social creatures that need connection and interaction. The meaning of loneliness is not just isolation. Some people desire to be alone. In that case loneliness is not an appropriate use. Loneliness is the lack of social interaction on a person who desires connection.

I think feeling lonely is part of human nature. Humans always feel lonely whenever they are left alone. In order to overcome this loneliness we always tend to make frineds and interact with each other.
