I think killing a person can be justified and Hamlet is innocent, since i have to defend him anyway. Hamlet has been through so much and it is obvious that it's hard to go through so much stuff all by himself. His father died, learning his uncle is a killer, finding out that ghosts exist, and his own mom marrying his uncle right after his father passed away. Only an extraordinary and emotionally immune person would be able to not react to such circumstances, but Hamlet is a normal man and his actions can be justified as the story proceeds.

I believe that Hamlet is guilty because even though he didn't want or had any intention of killing Polonius, he ended up killing someone. Killing someone as an accident or had no intention of killing someone doesn't make them a sinless person because then anyone who killed someone can say the exact same thing and get away with it.

I don't think Hamlet's actions are justified. There are a lot of clues in the play that proves that Hamlet knew it was Polonius. Hamlet should have checked who was behind the curtain and did something about it. And even though Hamlet killed without intending to do so, he needs to be punished because he committed a murder, which is bad.

I think he is guilty, he killed someone although he didn't know who it is. He also handled the dead body after the murder.

I think Hamlet is the person who has killled Polonius. He actually is not mad. We know that a mad or crazy person cannot speak so clearly or organize everythin so well. In order to revenge, he could pretend to be crazy so well. He should go to prison for his murder.

Hamlet reacts suddenly, without thought. His blood is already boiling because of his confrontation with Gertrude. She has started to call for the palace guards herself. And when he hears someone behind the curtain he feels threatened and go on his "fight or flight" mode that then he chooses to fight..

Hamlet's murder can be justified because he had the rights to protect him and Gertrude in a dangerous situation.

I believe Hamlet's actoin toward Polonius was way too extreme. Instead of stabbing the person behind the curtain. You could have stabbed somewhere next to his head to give a warning and let him or her come out and tell who he or she is, but Hamlet decided to act right away, because of the fear that it might be someone that should have never heard the conversation like Claudius himself.
