I have a really good example of my own. My dad hides my nintendo except for weekends to make me focused on homework, and I occasionally sneak it away and play(of course I return it before he notices). So my dad asks me sometimes, "why did you play games even if it's not weekend?" and I always flinch and admit it when he does that. Well, I found that he was just using lies to find out truth when he asked me once even if I really did not sneak away the game.

I once found out that a friend who originally promised to hang out with me said that he had to watch a movie with his family when he in fact went to play with some other friends. So I asked wasn't the ending of the movie so sad and he vaguely agreed that it was when it was actually a happy ending. So he got busted and I got mad at him for a while.

Yes, I think all of us have experienced this or used this method. When the other person started lying to find out the truth from us, we became panicked, thinking that they'd known our secret. In that moment, we couldnt think clearly and without realizing, we just gave it all away.

Years ago, I invited one of my friends to hang out with other friends. She said she could not come because she had to go to her grandmother’s birthday. Seeing that she was with her friends on the day she claimed was her grandmother’s birthday, I suspected that her claim was false. The next day, I tested her claim by asking her what wish her grandmother made on the birthday. She remained silence for seconds, and stuttered to me that her grandmother wanted happiness for her family members. I did not say anything bad to her because I did not want to mess up the relationship. However, I knew that she lied based on the eye contact, speech, and posture.

When I was younger, I really loved cake and ate a whole piece of cake without even telling my mom. Few minutes after she suspected me of missing cake, she asked me, "How was that scrumptious cake?" I was shocked but then smiled and told her the truth. It's really amazing and scary how parents use creative method to find out the truth from their children. I really respect all parents in this world.

When i was little, i had to study for a test, but i slept in my room and told my mom that i studied. My mom came in to my room while i was sleeping, but she said "i trust you, you should be very tired studying. Come here and rest" and suddenly I felt guilty. Later, I realized that my mom saw me sleeping because a cup of tea was on my table that i didnt bring in.

Well We all have memory of our parents telling us lies, for example common lie all parents at least did it once to you when you were young would be telling Santa Claus actually exist. As other has experienced parents lie to children for different reason, and when they do they usually go and start with "I herd you did this..." or "I saw you do this..." When they really didnt to find out truth from their kids. I have also experienced this as well for playing too much video games.
