My presentation includes the themes of: The complexity of action/confusion The mystery of death The nation as a diseased body Guilt Mortality As Claudius finally confesses his murther, he showed his state of confusing mind; whether he should be guilty or not. He doesnt know what to do and therefore he cries out for mercy

The themes in my monologue include misogyny, because mine is about Ophelia's descent into madness, which was pretty much caused by her controlling father and brother trying to keep her as a virgin, and Hamlet's abuse, and her uncertainty over whether Hamlet really loves her for herself, or if he just wants to take her virginity and then cast her aside.
