Let share our own believe system here: I know that many of you guys were picked a religion when you were born so you may like it or not. Therefore, you may wish some aspects of the religion could work out one way or another. So, if you guys can make your own believe system what is it like???
I think that my believe system right now is mostly the best FOR ME which I'm an atheist so I don't have to stick to so many rules. Also, I can do and eat whatever I want. However, I think it should be better if i have a god to believe in that gives me hope and luck when I'm in bad situation.

I'm a Christian so I believe in God, but more specifically I'm a Methodist. I think a lot of you guys who aren't Christians probably don't know about the many branches in Christianity. The one where there is the pope is Catholicism where as those that don't believe in him are all part of Protestantism. I'm part of Protestantism since Methodism is a sub-branch of Protestantism. I found that a lot of the other guys at school who are Protestants happen to believe in Presbyterianism. I don't know much about Presbyterianism but at least for Methodism, it is the most prevalent branch of Protestantism in the U.S. It's relatively more flexible when it comes to customs and is bit less restrictive than the other branches.

For me, I believe in Buddhism. Although I believe in Buddhism, I am not fully religious because since my grandparents and my parents are all buddhists, I naturally became buddhist. However, I am not fully religious, so part of me is atheist. I do what I want to do, and do what I think is right. But when I want to believe and pray for something, I pray to the Buddha. I personally think it is beneficial to believe in something because it gives us hope to go on to the right path.

I was born a Muslim with Muslim parents, and I guess my religion is pretty cool. There are some rules in my religion that I don't agree with though. So i say that I'm a selective Muslim. I believe in God, that good people go to heaven and bad people to hell, but I don't think women are subservient to men, or that gays are going to hell. I try to combine the rules of Islam with modern conventions, because I don't think rules created 1400 years ago still apply to modern society.

for me, i don't believe in the existence of god, not that i truly despise the concept. Its more of the result of indifference. I didn't grow up in a religious environment nor did i ever consider about following a religion. Most of my life, i've been focusing on tasks laid ahead of me, challenges i need to overcome, mistakes i need to fix, people that i care about. My goal in life isn't to prepare myself for a better future "heaven", since i believe that after a person dies.. the person just dies… (and turn into worms XD) therefore i tend to think more about success and enjoyments that i get to experience. Earning money isn't the happiness i talk about. Spending money and making use of the money is when happiness start to grow in my opinion. I've always have the dream of earning enough money to make my family happy :3 = no restriction in price, then i might consider spreading such happiness into the community.

I sort of became christian as i grew up, my mom is christian and i sort of became close to christianity than anything else. I feel bad for not going to church and stuff but i still do believe in christian god (jesus). As i havent been attending churches in a while i never had any restrictions regardless my religion. I am an orthodox christian and we don't have much restrictions beside not eating animal fat products on certain days but i dont do such restrictions, out of my family it's only my mom who tries to maintain such norms. I was never forced to believe in any religion, i started to believe in god just by myself, no restrictions just living a regular life.

well I am a a follower of Islam and I was born in a Muslim family but trust me, I have done my research and I once was an askhole. While being an askhole i have learned and gained a lot of knowledge about my religion, after all that i have chosen to be a Muslim and stick to it.

I'm also an atheist and think that religion is completely nonsense. Not to offend anybody, but in my opinion, religions are just stuff made up to make people follow certain rules and to control people. See indulgence and all the corruption in religions. It is fine to just believe in the religion to make yourself feel better and to rely on something. However, such religious people who force people to believe and try to take money away from people should be punished.

My belief is pretty simple but clear; if you hurt people or leave bad influence while your life, you will be punished afterlife in some ways. If you do the opposite and have done something beneficial to others in a way, you will be rewarded in afterlife. Though the kind of reward and punishment may be very vague, I believe the concept is clear.

I was agnostic at first because I didn't exactly have any faith in God but I did believe there was a "god-like" figure somewhere. But now I am an atheist and I respect the religion of other people but it's hard for me to believe that an afterlife or a powerful figure controls our world. Nothing makes sense to me and I personally don't like having rules in my life, restricting some of the stuff I do. And if hell is real and I go there, I wouldn't regret the life I had before my death because I plan to live my life to the fullest with no pressure of someone watching over me.

I believe there is god and soul. God would judge people by what they do in their life. If they do good things, they would go to paradise. If they do bad things, they would go to hell. I also think that peopel would get punishment before they go to hell if they do bad thing in their life. We can see some bad people always get bad luck and do everything failed. I believe the exist of God.

Unlike most international students I have met, I was fortunate enough to have a choice in choosing my religion and belief. When it comes to religion, I didn't understand the whole concept of it and I always approached it with scientific philosophy. Now that I've experienced a lot more throughout my life, I realized that I do not wish or care to bother knowing what other people believe. People should believe what they want to and what they can. For me, not I'm agnostic; I believe that there are some sort of creator.

I am atheist as well; I don't believe in any religion. However, whenever I have big exams or big events, I pray to god. I often wonder about to whom I am praying to, but I didn't really care in that I am too busy to think about to whom am I praying to because there is upcoming big events every time I pray. But when I think of it now, I think I pray to almost all the gods. Therefore, I think it is good to have a religion so that you don't confuse yourself like me.
I also think that it is good to have religion in that we can depend on the religion whenever we are scared, afraid of, or tired of something, which is our human nature. I believe that religion is a great column that holds the roof up in our life. In addition, religion is often a motivation in our lives. If you believe in a religion, you tend to behave in right way, in order to rich nirvana, go to higher caste or to go to heaven. In this manner, people's behaviors are motivated and caused by a religion.
As a result, I believe that religion is one of the aspects that order our society.

Contemporary Japan is considered a highly homogeneous society, but regional variation in social and cultural patterns has always been significant. Pride of place and identification with local cultural patterns remain strong. Japanese people often attribute personality traits to people from particular regions, and regional identity often is expressed through local culinary specialties and dialects.
