I do believe in afterlife. Even though the concept of it is pretty vague and imaginative- i mean it has to be- I believe there's gotta be a creator who is capable of overpowering humans in every aspect so that he/she is in a full control of us.

I'm an atheist but I am confused about the concept of ghosts, spirits, and other supernatural figures. But that's a whole different story. I also pray to an unknown God before a test or even when I seek for comfort. I think that's with a lot of people because it gives us hope and it helps us calm our nerves.

I do not have a accurate belief system and in some way I believe in Buddish. I believe if a person do not act good in their life, they would change their fate into a bad way. Finally he or she would get punishment after die maybe he orshe cannot be a person in afterlife.

I am not a strong Buddhist, but I am Buddhist. according to my religion we believe in the reincarnate system and depending on how we acted on our life the next life is depended. It is similar to the concept of sins in Christianity and other Abrihamic religions. However, only difference here would be we don't' believe in after life such as heaven or hell, we believe in that our soul is judged and we will be reincarnated. I believe if my memory is correct our goal is to reach enlightenment.

I don't believe in particular got but sometimes I pray unknown god. Since, I'm not Christian that is why I'll go to hell after life if in Dante's world. However, I think we should not judge people by religion.

In my opinion, after a person's dead, all the spiritual thing or intellectual things would remain in the dead body. This idea is actually a scary idea because the dead will see all of the process to the grave, until he is put under the ground. If the dead is not engraved but burned, he will see his body burns out and become black ashes. Finally, the dead will spend eternal time in the grave...

I'm Christian and we do believe in afterlife. People who believe that Jesus died on the cross for us go to heaven and people who don't believe this fact go to hell. That is how God separated Christians and nonChristians. I don't believe in aliens and ghosts, but I feel like there is a possibility of unknown species out there somewhere. I certainly don't believe in ghosts because ghosts are mostly people who want revenge, and most of the ghosts the public know are white ghosts. However, I feel like there should be black ghosts as well since many innocent African Americans slaves were murdered and killed. I however am afraid of the depiction of ghosts because they look so scary.

since im a muslim i believe in afterlife and we kind of have the same process as christians, those who sinned will be questioned by god(allah) and then they'll be put either in hell or heaven.

yes, i believe in after life. since I am muslim, it is written in qur'an that there is heaven and hell. I believe that there is a strong relationship between your actions and judgement after death, a connection between the way you should live your lives and possible reward or punishment after death, can give life meaning and purpose.

People who believes in Hinduism are called Hindus not Hinduist(lol Lin). I know a bit about the Hindu religion as some of my friends back in my country are Hindus. Their belief in afterlife is quite different than that of the Abrahamic religions. They believe in rebirth rather than an afterlife and that if u are good in this lifetime, you will have a better life in the next life and if you are bad, you might get born as an animal.

….. religion and beliefs don't really occupy any space in my brain…. i don't base my arguments or actions on any religion. I don't usually think about religion, but now that i think about it, i often just focus on goals and situations that occur now and the future. For instance, i'd focus on what projects or homework i have, when i should hang out with my friends, when i should make time to spend time with my family, etc. While i make such decisions, i don't think about whether such action would get me to heaven or hell. Although i do consider whether my actions would harm anyone.

Well afterlife is something we can not prove in either scientifically and religiously. In all circumstance afterlife is something all human fear. I personally believe human fear death, because we do not know clearly what is their after we die. Here takes place of beliefs us human believe in. We believe in religions in order to over come the fear of unknown after death.

As I am Christian, I believe in afterlife, namely heaven and hell. Something worthy to add I guess is that my religion, Methodism, doesn't believe in purgatory unlike in Dante's Inferno. We simply go to heaven if we truly believe in God and go to hell if we don't. I guess a question would be what about those who don't believe in any god? The answer is that if you have acknowledged the existence of God throughout your life and yet decided to remain non-religious, then you still go to hell. The only exception would be those in isolation who simply could not have had any contact with knowledge of God. Those people will be judged separately by God once they die.
