I did enjoyed English literature class even though it was kind of hard. I especially liked Hamlet because I love tragedy.
How about you guys? Which kind of literature did you like the most?

Speaking of favorite literature unfortunately I don't have one, as I'm not a really big of reading lol. However, I still enjoy the class though, especially with the class discussions each day. it's fun and pretty entertaining to hear some different opinions.
and my least favorite part of the class is probably online discussion board (yes, I'm talking about this thing) because I rarely come online since I'm an old fashioned student. Plus my mum said online is a dangerous place and full of naked girls so yeah lol, joke.

I think my favorite part of English 400 would have to be the monologue but only the performing and not the memorizing. I also enjoyed the job profile for the characters from Beowulf, and also the little of Frankenstein that we did. What I would like to ask for is to actually FINISH the stories that we start (cough, cough, Frankenstein) Also I hated Sir Gwain and the Green Knight. There was nothing about that story that interested me in the slightest.

I think it was way tougher than the English 200. English 200 was mostly based on annotation and in-class discussion. Mostly discussion about the literature. I think it was more enjoyable to have a discussion during the class time. My favorite part of this year's class was the mock trial.

I think it was pretty challenging this year because the APA formatting, although I learned about it in other classes, was tough because the content of the assignments was long in general. I also agree with James that the mock trial was the most interesting activity this year. I wish I could've seen more discussions and opinions of others but I couldn't. But it was a tough and fun year in the end.

Sometime we had to work very hard so it was very stressful but except for that it was okay.

I had fun in English 400 because we argued on a lot of different topics and I liked when we were discussing about witchcraft and how miserable people were that they needed to blame on others. Although there were many difficult things that we had to overcome, I think that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would have been.

Although I am not necessarily a big fan of literature, i was glad that Ms. Boyd included many assignments that are very useful for our future. Starting from the resume to the apa formatting to the ability to compile a file with an effective table of content, every assignment had and outlook into the future as we will need these skills. So far the only literature that interested me was the Scarlet Pimpernel. Of course i wasn't interested in the first place, but the book was so well written that i could easily have a live movie playing in my mind as i read. Unfortunately the other literature didn't appeal to me in such way, but i definitely think that this class improved my english ability in many ways.

I think English 400 was a very fun class. I always loved the discussions of the essential questions that we had in class. I also loved some of the activities that we did, for example the trial. The discussion board was also a fun place for discussion and be in on different thoughts and ideas.

After experienced so many things in Englis class, the best thing i like here is Hamlet trial. On that trial we win and we know how to use the power of laws to protedct pur profits in a correct way and we also understand how to act well in a so-called performance.

My favorite thing in English 400 was all the deep conversations we had in class. Those essential questions really get to you. I loved all the existential related questions and I will probably continue searching for an answer. I will miss this..

I really enjoyed this year's English 400 class as it was filled with various literature I had never experienced nor even heard of. I was fascinated and shocked by profound essential questions as well as classmates' discussions about them. I will definitely miss this class as well as people because we all shared this huge chunk of memories called English 400. This class has been one of my favorites.

Along with all the different literature we read as a class, what I really enjoyed is class discussion on essential questions. They were all profound questions with no fixed answers. Everyone held different perspectives that everyone had to listen to others and take their voices to mature our own views. This activity really widened my perspective and made me grow as a more responsible global citizen!
