It all depends on the situation, whether or not capital punishment should be used. Sometimes, it would be safer to use capital punishment, than just putting the people who should be punished, in jails. What if they don't repent their sins? What happens if they pretend to repent their sins, but after they come out of jail, they would do their crime all over again?

I am supporting the capital punishment because I think this keeps people from committing crimes. The reason is most people are afraid of death more than anything else.

I think capital punishment should not be abolished and should be used. In my opinions, It is necessary because the person who does something wrong has to receive his/her deserved punishment and can warm other people not to do the same thing as well.

I think capital punishment should be used as well. Execution can teach the citizens that they shouldn't be breaking the law, and also it is necessary to punish criminals with serious crimes.

I think the capital punishment should be carried out for people who commit a serious murder. By this way, I think it can serve as a fear for those bad ones in the society so that similar deeds aren't repeated. I think the capital punishment in some cases can resolve people's anger, victims' family for example. Some people may argue that we don't have rights to take away criminals' lives. But the criminals also shouldn't have rights to take away others' lives as well. How unfair is that for the victims. That's what I think.

it's very arguable question that can go both ways, yes or no. Personally, i am leaning a little bit towards abolishing such practice because it's a quick escape for the criminals. For the pain and suffer they have caused they can't just die in seconds it will be a relief for them because they don't even care anymore if they are dead or alive. Instead, they should be punished and sentenced to life time in jail under the most crucial circumstances, that way they will suffer and just maybe they will understand what they have done wrong. Capital punishment is just a quick way to escape their problems.

I don't think capital punishment should be used unless the killer is 100% guilty. But even if they are guilty, I think they should live their lives in misery by being locked up in a tiny room where they get no human contact. That is a much more painful punishment whereas killing someone right away is a painless job.

I disagree with the death penalty because no one has right to end one's life: only god does. Who grants people such right to do so? And even if one commits a serious crime, shouldn't there be a second chance instead of putting him/her death? The most significant argument is that people do not have ability nor power to determine other's lives.

Along with many other people, I also am against the death penalty. No one has right to end one's life just because they have done bad things. Who decides whether it is bad enough to be dead unless there is a superior being than men? Are you a god? Even if someone killed your precious people, can you punish him or her by ending the same? Isn't it the same thing as the criminal? Is eye for an eye a morally acceptable deed?
