After preparing your or watching others' presentations, how do you think you can improve or could have improved your presentation? I think I could've improved mine by trying to speak a bit slower so that the other guys can have enough time to take notes. So, what do you think?

I think that I can improve my presentation by adding more information on my backgrounds and information on the author. I think that I wrote a less amount than others. I think that I needed to anticipate situations where things wouldn't go the way that I would want it to.

I am going tomorrow and am soooooo nervous!!!! Since my story is kind of long and very informative I'm pretty sure I am going to run out of time. I think I will probably be rapping scripts most of the time. I know most of the people will be confused and run out of time to take notes, but I don't think I will be able to finish my presentation if I listen to all of them. Moreover, I want to make the group more organized so that everyone has chance to speak something. Till now, people were organized into groups with people who they are sitting next to. However, I think I need to organize the group so that talkative people can stay with quite people and so on so that people have time to speak to each other. But to do this, I need time to organize.
Another improvement we should make is that we need more activities. I think our activities are pretty much short and there is only one activity. I think more activities will engage students into the class and concentrate more than using only powerpoint.

I haven't done my presentation yet but I think I need to fix several things. I think I should rehearse it to manage my time. I think I should leave out some sources that I got for pictures so that the students have the right bibliography. And just in general, I think I should think how to teach them a lesson and entertain them at the same time to make my class interesting.

I wish i'd done more rehearsing to manage my time. I thought everything would go smooth on the day of the presentation, but I kind of trembled. Also, I should've asked more people about the instruction and requirements. I asked some people and found out that we needed the essential questions included, so I did. However, it turned out that I included wrong essential questions.

By looking at other people's presentation, I realized that I had too little information on either the background, author, or the analysis of the story. So I will try to prepare more information to just say it orally since I can't anything else to the powerpoint presentation.

Alot of things were time managements and having a clear end goal. I feel like some of us were too caught up in time and thus we were not able to do alot of the things we prepared. Also, some of the activities or the plans seemed to lack a clear end goal. Alot of it seemed to be displaced and out of order. Sometimes I felt as if the presentation had nothing to do with the essential questions.

I think we need to improve our time management because I have seen several presentations in which people needed more time especially for the activity session. People need to prepare under the assumption that it will take longer than the practices.

After the observation, I feel like people are taking notes rather than actually listening to the speaker. So I wish there were more time allowed for us to take notes so that people can focus better during the presentation.

I haven't gone yet..but by looking at the presentations before me I realized that the most important thing is the tone of the speaker and the content of the slide itself. If the tone of speech sounds boring, it's really difficult to concentrate on that presentation.

I realized that my presentation will be different from others'. I'm somewhat worried, but I know that i should speak slowly and clearly, and focus more on analyzing the work than the author.

Talking slowly would definitely be one of few things that are needed to be improved because it is very hard to listen and write at the same time bunch of information in under 20 minutes or so. Also, explaining the poem just on the surface would be very helpful, a lot of times people just jump into analysing poem without really explaining what it's about, even with us doing annotations, an extra explanation would be a big plus.

I think I will talk slower so you guys can take note. Also, I will manage time well because some people didn't have time for activity so I don't like same thing will happen.

By looking at others presenting, I learned that time management was the hardest thing because most of them failed to manage time. They were either running out of time or finished their activities too fast.

As for me, I think in my part the biggest problem is that i do not manage the time correctly and i plan lots of interesting parts. Because of the time, i do not have time to show that in class. if those parts have been showed up in the class, that would make a better influence in teaching. During i was teaching some ting, i look black board for a long time instead of have eye contact with people in the class. This is the really good important thing i need to change in my future presentation.
