I got Thomas Hardy's 'Ruined Maid', which shows a conversation between two women, one of which is poor and a farmer girl, and one being a well dressed city girl, who happens to be a prostitute, and shows how victorian society treats female prostitutes.

I got Dylan Thomas's "Do Not Go Gentle Into that Good Night". It's a poem about how the speaker is telling his old, dying father to struggle against death, to not give into it. I personally liked this the moment I knew it's meaning because my motto is to always do your best, which is quite similar to the lesson of this poem.

Mine is Alice's Wonderland. As many of you already know, it is a novel written in the Victorian Era in Britain. But I'm still wondering which part of the book I should teach about...

Mine is No Second Troy, which is a poem written by William Butler Yeats. Yeats compares a woman whom he loved so much to Helene in the Greek myth. The background behind the poem was really interesting.

My literature is "Frederigo's Falcon". I'm exited to teach the class about the irony of the story and other analysis in many different ways.

Mine is called "A Modern Proposal" by Jonathan Swift. I don't want to spoil anything but I will say that I am loving Swift's humor.

The story that I received is called the ship of death, which is telling the process of how people live or do before they meet their demise, (at least that is what i think it is).

The work of literature that I will be teaching is the Frederigo's Falcon. I really like the story because it gives us a moral lesson and I wish my classmates also get the same realization and feelings I got after reading it. I also think there's a lot to tell about the background of the story in terms of culture and history.

Mine is called the novels written by silly ladies. I chose this because of the peculiar title of the book.

My poem is They by Siegfried Sassoon. It's about an unfairness of authorities when soldiers fight and die but the government gets all the credit.

I chose The Descent of Man by Charles Darwin. I chose this literature because I was always interested in the evolution and biology as a science major student. In addition, I also have learned about Charles Darwin and his theories in my biology class, so I wanted to study more deeply about it by reading the actual text not the summary we can find in the book.
This is not the story; this is more of an essay or report that is telling us the information. As a result, there are not much literary devices like simile, personification and etc. However, I am planning to teach you guys the controversy of his theory, opposition of church and how Darwin applied his theory to the society. To give you guys more hint, I think I am going to talk about racism as well. I won't tell all the answers because I need to teach you guys in the class later on.

I chose Emily Brontë's poem, which is Remembrance because I know at that time women could not get educated,I was wondering what did she make a poem, and I was curious about her background of her family.
