After reading Utopia by Thomas Moore, I felt that his "Utopia" is very similar to Communism system. Every people has similar jobs and amounts of property. And this communism factor can hinder the nation's development because no one would want to be the best in the Utopia. For me, I think It's better to live in somewhat competitive world, improving and demonstrating my ability.

No, living with everybody under an exactly condition is not ideal at all. Everyone will lose uniqueness and individualism after only being able to speak one language. Also, living under same condition will take away motivation for everyone. People will not be passionate as much as they used to and lose interest.

No, I do not think it never happen. If everyone have equal income and skill no one would try to improove their skills so the world will never going to be better.

After reading Sir Thomas More's Utopia, first off, I really didn't think it would work. Everything was kind of a bias I thought. I definitely wouldn't want to live in Utopia. Diversity is lacking in his utopia. Discrimination I think won't be able to be avoided. Obiously there are so many flaws. I wouldn't do so because it's his utopia. Also, I can't speak whatever language. Human nature will always take over and create unequality.

I don't really want to live in the Utopia Sir Thomas More made because first of all it sounds very boring. You have to work and then when you have leisure time, you have to something "intellectual" which will be studying. In addition, there is fixed thing that you can do. You literally don't have as much freedom as now. I don't want to lock myself up like that. Moreover, I can't develop me. I can't be distinct individual but a product that the society made. I have to be as equal as others, like homogeneous goods made in the factory. I have to do the certain job that I was assigned to, couldn't do anything, couldn't' own any private property. Then what's the point of living as hard as now? I don't need to study, work or do anything since there is no motivation for me. I don't get anything as a reward. In order to make people work as hard as they can, they need some kinds of reward and punishment, sadly. As a result, I don't think Sir Thomas More's Utopia is very good idea. But nice try

After reading Utopia,I do not want to live that this "prefect" land.Almost everything is the same and it is kind of boring. As most people said, people live under an exactly condition, you cannot develop your own style. There is lots of limits.such as how many hours you should work, how much time you should sleep, you have to inherit your parents' job.except you have special skills, then you will work at different job from your parents.
I do not think Sir Thomas More's Utopia works because it is impossible.
So my answer is " No".

As my class has discussed about his idea of utopia, we ended up with disagree with him. First, I don't think his utopia will be the perfection and I think he makes that story to criticize British society. Also, if i will never want to live there where all people are trying to be the same. There will be no competition so what's the point of life?

I would not want to live in Utopia because I believe that there is no such thing as a perfect city. I personally think that everything has to be balanced in order to keep everything going. If everyone is the same, there would be no progress at all since there will be no competition between people. There has to be some kind of competition to invent something. I would want my world to develop as time flies; I do not want the world where there is no progress at all.

The first one made my eyes feel exhausted, so I can sum up all that, just by saying that More found his friend Peter and this one introduced him to a fella named Raphael, a man that visited several countries to satisfy his desire of seeing the world.

I wouldn't want to live in such society. Since there are many flaws to his plan, i believe that the plan will cause the society to turn into communism. The most important aspect of communism is the focus on the community and that there is no privacy but publicity. The uniformity among people is also a typical aspect found in communism. Also, human nature plays a role as well. Many aspects of human nature doesn't permit a "perfect society" to form as many people can easily fall into greed and selfish desires, which directly violates a utopia. The irony is that a utopia shouldn't have a government (as it creates social differences and permits corruption); however, a country without a government will end up chaotic as people strive to survive selfishly.

After reasing the whole story about Utopia,I feel the society could never change like this way. People seems have more freedom and have more chance to enjoy the fair. Actually, Utopia make people have more rules anf people is exhibited to have chance to have freedom. As for me, I don't life that society.

I do not want to live in his Utopia because all I get to do is mostly agriculture, which I do not want. There is nothing interesting in that place because culture and language are identical. The only entertainment I can enjoy is doing some crafts, whereas I want something different. I feel little disturbed that I do not have private property and have to share it with everyone.

no, I think his story doesn't tell us about utopia at all. there are so many flaws in there. And i think no matter how perfect we want our society to be, its never going to happpen because nothing in this world is perfect. there will be always consequences in every decission making.
