First of all i believe that the devil is very attractive, seems like she is helping but when it is not, and convince people to do acts without informing them of the circumstances.

Compared to one in Dante, the devil in movie was very attractive and powerful. I think the description of the devil in movie is very accurate, because it shows how devils are deceptive, tend to say things around, and have different powers and like to harm humans. Also the devil in the movie was beautiful, and this represents how devils easily trick and seduce humans.

I think Devil is one of the imagination that people have been made. When a person treat problems that have moral problem, they experience inner conflicts between good thing and evil thing. And people call this evil tendency "Devil's whispering." Thus, Devil is just one of imagination that standardizes the immorality.

The devil was portrayed as a woman because devil is more known as someone or something that seduces human to sell his or her soul. This shows how Devil is portrayed in now day society. Someone like woman that will lure and tempt you to do something.

the Bible defines Satan as an angelic being who fell from his position in heaven due to sin and is now completely opposed to God, doing all in his power to thwart God's purposes.

I loved the movie it was hilarious! How devil was depicted was interesting as well. For example, in the movie, the devil was almighty; she, or he, could do anything she (I will say she because she was in woman's appearance) wanted and granted wishes for the protagonist. I think she was powerful in that she was the 'opposite' from god. While god was almighty in the heaven, devil was omniscient in the hell. In Dante's opinion, devil had to be weak and evil because he was opposite from almighty great god. Dante literally thought of opposite word of strong and good, leading to weak and evil.
I also think that the devil was in woman figure because she represented temptation for the protagonist. As a kind of pathetic human being, beautiful woman must have been a great temptation. And it turned out to be successful; he finally sold his soul to get the girl he wanted. I think the devil was giving him a moral or lesson throughout the journey of 7 wishes but I don't understand why would devil do nice thing for the mere human being.

My fellow class mates I believe that the devil is bad and there are 2 reasons behind it, 1 since the day I started learning i am pretty sure that my parents or elderly people taught me that the devil is bad, 2 my religion devil is really arrogant, selfish and rude creature which will always lead people to damnation and the devil will always try to drag down as many people as possible to the hell. Now my question is when the devil does all these bad things to people like the movie Bach is so interested in,somewhere around the path we do realize our mistakes if we are wise enough and we try to quit doing all the bad thing and try our best to redeem ourselves which leads toward the path to God. So the conclusion is in a way devil is helping people see the right path. But again DEVIL IS EVIL

The devil portrayed in the movie kinda goes against what the devil is known to the people. Normally when we hear the word 'devil', we think of black faced, evil minded creature with wings and horns. That's what I think of at least. However, in the movie, the devil was a hot woman who could had superpowers. The director did a good job in portraying the devil in this manner because she definitely fits well with the story line and the plot.

Devils are most frequently portrayed as attractive women. This is very logical choice by the authors or directors because devils should be able to grab others attention or even to seduce them. Often male characters become vulnerable to the attractive women (devils) and fall into the traps set by them. If devils had been strong, monsterous-looking, they would not have been able to seduce, tempt others

As you all said, the devil was portrayed as a woman to show the temptation that people can experience. As she turned herself as man at the movie, i think the devil can change its appearance to fit someone's temptation.
